Spring is officially here, and when I think of spring, the first thought that comes to my mind is the sunshine emoji. No more April showers! Spring is in the air, and we can actually enjoy meals outside. It’s the perfect weather with the sun shining and a slight breeze. Also, the best part is that the bugs and mosquito season hasn’t started yet! Last month, I did an outdoor dining makeover at Cecilia’s house. I love how it turned out! This time, I want to show you how sprucing up the outdoor dining with a few items can make it feel fancy with your everyday dinnerware.
You don’t need to have a special occasion/holiday to do this. If you have the right items, a little goes a long way! For example, I love how these white modern farmhouse bowls and plates can be used as your everyday dinnerware, but setting an outdoor dining tablescape will change the whole look and vibe of your typical lunch/dinner. These white bowls and salad plates actually come in a 16 piece dinnerware set where you can choose between square or round.
Then I placed the bowls and salad plates on top of a melamine blue and white plate to add some color to this area. I also added these blue rimmed glasses to bring in more of the blue.
You guys know I’m obsessed with jute rugs. I love how it’s neutral, can match with anything, and adds texture to a space. If you don’t see me using jute rugs, I’m using jute in other ways! Check out this jute placemat that I used on the tablescape!
How cute is this 3 mini bowl set which comes with a tray? It matches the dinnerware perfectly with that modern farmhouse style! You can use these for dips or fruit as you can see here.
Similar to the 3 mini bowl set, the salt and pepper shakers are also part of the modern farmhouse collection! All of these items complement each other so well.
Whether it’s chips, fruit, vegetables, or donuts, you can use this wood acacia bowl for those side dishes!
If you have kids, they’re going to love this glass beverage dispenser! You can even have this inside on your kitchen counter which makes it easy for little ones to grab their own drink. As you can see, I ended up placing it on top of a rattan beverage stand. When you flip the stand over, you can use it as a bowl too!
Now when it’s time to put everything away, you can place your dishes on a floating shelf. It works great as decor too. 😉
I hope that helped give you ideas on how to take your everyday dishes to a “fancy” outdoor dining meal if that means Sunday breakfast, lunch for the kids, or weeknight dinners! I want to end it with this image of Gunner, Cecilia’s cat. 🙂 Whenever I’m at her house taking pictures, he somehow gets in my images. The cat likes to model! Here he is on the comfy egg chair that I’m obsessed with!

So beautiful! We have a black patio table that I am feeling less than enthused about. Thank you! Can you tell me where your armchairs are from?

Honestlyl, I’m a big admirer of outdoor dining, especially beachside dining. Have you gone to Tybee lately? I believe they have the nicest restaurants near the beach, and if you want to see what I mean, go to https://visittybee.com/list/fantastic-outdoor-dining-spots.
