Outdoor Egg Chairs

Thank you Better Homes and Gardens at Walmart, one of my favorite brands, for sponsoring this post!

As part of the BHG Live Better influencer network, we get monthly themes for our blog posts, and I was SO excited this month’s focus was our outdoor space! I’m so ready for spring and to start enjoying the outdoors! Last year, I decorated Cecilia’s patio, and I’m glad our house is finally done to start decorating it! I used the brown and cream outdoor egg chairs for Cecilia’s patio, and when I saw that Better Homes and Gardens at Walmart came out with gray and cream egg chairs, I clicked “Add to cart” so fast! I was debating whether to get two or three egg chairs but decided to get two for now. There were a couple options of where to put these chairs…either right outside the four seasons room or under the pergola. As you can see, I decided to put it in a little area right outside the four seasons room.

When decorating your outdoor space, think about the color scheme you’re going for. I wanted this space to be calm and relaxing, so I went with neutrals and soft colors. My go-to colors are usually white, gray, and blue.

Let me show you how to achieve the perfect patio look! First, you need to have seating. You can do wicker, wood, or steel patio furniture, and with my style, I decided to go with these wicker outdoor egg chairs. Second, to add some life and color to this area, I placed some plants/florals in some cute planters. These planters come in 6″ or 8″ sizes and come in a set.

Third, place some outdoor throw pillows on the patio furniture to add some color to the space. These striped throw pillows caught my eye because of the pretty blue color.

Fourth, add lighting (lanterns or string lights) to bring out some relaxed ambiance when it’s dark outside. it’s a great way to add character to an area. Here, I added these white metal lanterns and rattan woven lanterns.

Fifth, include a side table, coffee table, or a place to set something on. I used this pouf as a table, but of course, you can use it as seating too.

Sixth, complete the area with finishing touches. I added this tray which is perfect if you’re wanting to bring something outside like plates, drinks, and food.

I love how this area turned out! When pool season starts, I might take these down by the pool, but for right now I’m going to enjoy it in this area. I can drink a cup of coffee out here while enjoying the peaceful outdoors.

This list is missing the Egg chair by Arne Jacobsen. This is a great modern chair to mention. I personally have a replica from Barcelona Designs and it is definitely worth every penny.
