Kitchen Reveal | Hestan

It’s that time! Can’t believe I’m finally sharing the kitchen in the new house! In the appliance install blog post, you saw a glimpse of the kitchen, and now you can see it with countertops, faucets, panels, and somewhat decorated! Eventually, we will be whitewashing the stone on that hood wall. In this blog post, I wanted to show you all of the Hestan appliances in the kitchen.

Let’s start off with the range because this was the appliance I was most excited about using! I could make the simplest meals, but cooking eggs for breakfast or spaghetti for dinner makes me feel like I’m on the Food Network using this Hestan 48” 5-burner all gas range with 12” griddle! I’m so glad I went with the “froth” color because it goes perfectly with the blue cabinets.

Here’s a view of the oven interior.

You can see that the top and middle racks are full extension oven racks that glide easily. On the day our range was installed, the first thing Johannah made was cookies. These sliding oven racks are convenient to have.

When the range or oven is in use, these specific knobs are backlit which is a great safety feature.

Nick and I have both used the CircuFlame™ center power burner to boil pasta, and they were not kidding when they say it goes from 0º to crab boil in no time! The CircuFlame™ burner provides 30,000 BTU’s, and I can’t believe this is featured in Michelin-starred restaurants and used by top chefs around the country!

Since the hood is right here, let’s talk about that Hestan 48” liner hood! This hood is SO quiet, you can’t even tell it’s on. The CircuFlow™ Ventilation System collects 70% more grease than most competitor products in the marketplace.

Also, the blower speed automatically increases when higher temperatures are detected, and when the full blower power is not needed, the blower speed automatically lowers for even quieter operation.   

Now onto the custom blue panel 60” column freezer and refrigerator Ensemble Refrigeration Suite! This was another one I was super excited about!

I love the seemless look of the panel fronts, but then when you open it up…SURPRISE! 😉 There is so much room in the refrigerator and freezer!

One of Hestan’s great features is its EvenFlow Air Circulating Technology™ which creates an air curtain to prevent cold air from escaping when the door opens. 

Another feature I love is that its drawers/bins have a soft close. Those drawers are bead-blasted stainless steel refrigerator EverCrisp™ drawers that are antimicrobial and prevent the growth of microorganisms and the spreading of germs.

Here’s the freezer side which has a FreshSelect™ feature. This allows us to transform our freezer into the same temp as our refrigerator if we need to!  The freezer has three cooling zones: classic refrigerator zone, extend fresh refrigerator zone, and freezer zone.  This is perfect when we have family over for the holidays!  If we’re running out of refrigerator space, we can convert our freezer to a refrigerator!

In one of the kitchen islands, we have the  24” dishwasher and 30” drawer microwave.

The microwave drawer can hold a 4 qt. casserole or 20 oz beverage!  If you’ve never seen a drawer microwave before, it smoothly glides open and close which prevents spills. There’s a beverage option that reheats coffee/tea to the perfect temperature. I love this because I always have to reheat my coffee throughout the day. Also, there’s a warm feature which keeps food warm for up to 30 minutes!

For the dishwasher in the kitchen island, I went with the steeletto color (stainless steel).

This dishwasher is SO quiet.  It’s so quiet, there’s a red LED display on the floor to show that the dishwasher is running. You can see the LED light on the image below.

We did a custom blue panel for the second dishwasher in the window sink area. Can you guess which side the dishwasher is on?

It’s on the right side! Now you see it…

…and now you don’t. 😉

There’s also a third rack which is customizable.  You can put cookie sheets and utensils up there or move it to make room for bigger pots and pans.
