If you saw the Instagram stories that I posted today, you heard that picking out the laundry room tile was stressful (what’s new?) and that I went a different route on my laundry room design. First, let me show you what the laundry room looks like as of August 28, 2020:
I went with taupe colored cabinets for the perimeter and a darker wood stain for the laundry island. When we first started building, that was not the vibe I was going for. Instead, I envisioned light blue cabinets, polished nickel hardware, white countertops, and white walls. I decided not to go this route because my whole house will pretty much be light and bright with dusty blue accents, and I wanted the laundry room to be different from the rest of the house. I still plan on doing a coastal style for the laundry room, but with a timeless and classic twist. 😉 Can’t wait to show you more progress pictures!
For now, let me show you what I originally thought my laundry room was going to be. I didn’t go this route, but maybe you can use it for your own future laundry room!

Hi! I love your laundry room. I’m thinking about using antique brass as well and noticed that you pair it with chrome? Are there any other hardware finishes you would also pair with antique brass? I’m so confused as to what metals I can pair together. Thanks!
