Cozy bedroom Fireplace

Thank you Better Homes and Gardens at Walmart, one of my favorite brands, for sponsoring this post!

We get monthly themes for our blog posts as part of the BHG Live Better influencer network. This month we were encouraged to refresh one of the spaces in our house that we use every day, giving it a unique and stylish update. We just moved into the new house 2.5 weeks ago, and there are a lot of areas that could use a unique and stylish update using Better Homes and Gardens products. I decided to focus on our bedroom fireplace to give it that cozy and inviting vibe.

We’re still surrounded by boxes and it seems like the unpacking will never end, but getting to decorate a small area of the new house is giving me life! HA! Here was my mood board for the master bedroom:

The rest of the house is bright and airy with accents of blue. For the master bedroom, I wanted it to feel bright but with a European twist. I love how the fireplace turned out and decorating this area to give it that cozy bedroom was so easy! How many floor pillows are too many floor pillows? Asking for a friend. 😉 Obsessed with these white floor pillows! I added two red tufted floor cushions to give this area more color. This cushion comes in eight other colors.

The Better Homes and Gardens throw blankets are my favorites, and that’s why I gave these as my gifts for a Favorite Things party I went to last week. Everyone loved it! The doe faux fur blanket that’s pictured is what we currently use at the house. It’s currently sold out online, but definitely sign up for their in-stock notification! Here is a faux fur throw that is in stock online. There are so many Better Homes and Gardens cube bins, and I used this gray one as a basket for this area.

I went with these wood lanterns to continue the wood tones from the mirror and vases on the mantel. I placed the big rustic wood lantern on the hearth and the medium sized metal and wood lantern on the floor.

Everyone is fighting for this diamond shag rug! Christian wants it in his room, Johannah thinks it would be perfect in her room, and Bashy thought this was going in his room. 😉

Pillows, neutrals, and textures make a space feel cozy. The last thing I added to this space was these white striped pillows which come in a set of two. These are the taupe ones, but it also comes in black and blue colors.

Hope you enjoyed this blog post! I can’t wait to decorate more rooms in the house!
