Sharing our front outdoor lanterns!
As you remember in this blog post, I shared that we went with Primo Lanterns for the front of our house. Below is the exterior moodboard I created before we started building to show the style and look I was going for. I’ve always envisioned a white house with blue shutters and copper lanterns. Copper lanterns were a must…no ifs, ands, or buts. 😉
The exterior is a reflection of what type of style the inside of your house is. I wanted our home exterior to be classic and timeless, and I’ve always loved how copper lanterns give off that timeless feel. Today I’m sharing with you the Primo Lanterns I selected for the front of our house! All our Primo lanterns are electric, and the areas marked below is where the lanterns will go:
Front Door Hanging Light
For the front door, I went with the Orleans 16.25″ wide hanging lantern with half yolk. Out of all the lanterns, hands down the Orleans is my favorite design. Love the traditional look of this one! Delores from Primo Lantern helped us select which size would work best for that area. After reviewing the height of our front doors and front porch peak, the 27″ was the best fit.
Garage Door Sconces
For the garage doors, I went with three Orleans 14″ wide wall mounted lanterns. One lantern on the far left of the garage door, the second one in the middle, and the third one on the far right.
GARAGE ENTRY SCONCE
I went with the Lafayette 8″ wide wall mounted lantern for the garage entry door. Love the rolled top and clean straight lines of the Lafayette!
What do you think of my copper lantern selections for the front exterior of the house??
