Sharing a fast and easy recipe weeknight meal!
Kids are back in school, and sports and activities have started. With four kids in sports and activities, there’s a lot of time spent in the car hauling kids to all their activities after school. Sometimes there isn’t a lot of time to cook dinner if I have to drop off a kid at soccer, pick up another one at football, and drop off another kid at baseball. One thing I’m thankful for during this chaotic season of life is google calendar and my Walmart+ membership! You better believe I’m taking full advantage of having my groceries delivered straight to my doorstep! Depending on what items I’m ordering, I usually order it in one of Walmart’s private brands (Great Value, Marketside, Sam’s Choice, and Freshness Guaranteed) because it tastes good AND I save money!
New customers can use promo code TRIPLE10 to save $10 off your first three pickup or delivery orders! $50 minimum. Restrictions & fees apply.
I wanted to share this quick and easy meal idea for those busy weeknights! It’s not anything fancy even though it looks like you spent hours in the kitchen. 😉
rotisserie chicken
I ordered two cooked rotisserie chickens that can be heated up in the microwave or cooked in the oven. Easy peasy!
salad
For one of the sides, I did a salad with some croutons. I like getting the already washed and ready-to-eat salads, so all I have to do is pour them into a bowl. 😉 Can’t forget the croutons!
vegetables
I love getting steamable frozen vegetables that you can pop in the microwave. My go to are green beans, corn, and cauliflower rice. On this night, we had corn with some butter and salt!
potatoes
The last side dish is some mashed potatoes! This is so easy to prepare!
Set the table and you’re ready for dinner! Looks fancy right?! The best part is that it should only take you 20 minutes to prepare! This is a fast and easy weeknight meal!
