Sharing with you the install of our Cambek front doors
You guys don’t even understand how excited I am for you to see this blog post! If you missed it, I shared in this blog post our front door design and why we went with Cambek! Cambek makes custom entry doors, so if you’re looking for a company to create the exact door of your dreams, you need to check them out! We worked with Lauri from Cambek, and she made the process so easy and stress-free. I sent my photoshopped inspo image to her, and she came up with our front door design. It’s exactly what I wanted! The double doors are 9′ tall, so these are statement pieces!
Production
Before I share installation pictures, here are some production images of our front doors at Cambek’s facility! It’s so cool to see how my doors were made!

Pre-Installation
During the winter months, we had the front door opening insulated and drywalled until it was ready to get the front doors installed.
You knew it was time for installation when they started removing the drywall.
Here’s a picture of the installation, drywall, and framing removed in that area. That opening with the front door, sidelights, and transoms is 128″ tall x 109 3/4″ wide

The first thing they did was install the sidelights and transoms before installing the front doors.

Here’s what it looks like installed! We worked with Cambek to get that perfect whitewashed look for the front doors, and after sending us one stain color sample they came up with, it was immediately approved. I was in love with it!
Here’s what it looks like from the inside! I went with a blue gray color for the interior, and this color is Benjamin Moore Solitude.
