Primo Lantern Front Porch

Sharing with you the install of our Primo hanging lantern on the front porch

Okay, I’m on a roll with sharing the front of our house! First I shared what went wrong with our exterior, then I did the front door reveal, and now to the light fixture! If you missed it, I shared in this blog post our front exterior moodboard and why we went with Primo Lanterns! We went with the Orleans 16.25″ wide hanging lantern with half yolk, and the Orleans is my favorite design. Love the traditional look of this one! This particular lantern comes in 4 different sizes. The 27″ was the best fit after reviewing the height of our front doors and front porch peak.

The front porch hanging lantern was the last one to get installed outside. It was an exciting day when they started installing this light fixture!

Here’s the front porch decorated! I’m SO happy I went with a copper lantern for our front porch light fixture. This Primo lantern is exactly what I had envisioned for this area!

With the double doors being 9′ tall, I’m glad we went with the 27″ size of the Orleans lantern.

Well, what do you think? I wanted our home exterior to be classic and timeless, and I’ve always loved how copper lanterns give off that timeless feel. Mission accomplished!
