I wanted to share this super easy recipe that your kiddos will love! Actually, the adults couldn’t keep their hands off of it either! My mother-in-law gave me an “OREO Sweet Treats” recipe book for Christmas, and I finally got a chance to try one of the recipes for Dylan’s birthday.
Ingredients:
24 OREO cookies
1 pkg. (2 layer size) chocolate cake mix (I actually used chocolate devil’s food cake mix)
2 cups thawed frozen whipped topping
-Prepare cake batter as directed on package
-Put cupcake liners in muffin pan and put 1 cookie in each cup.
-Spoon cake batter over cookies
-Bake cupcakes as directed on package.
-Let cool in pan for 5 min then remove and place on wire racks to cool completely.
-Remove the paper liners and then cut the cupcakes in half horizontally.
-Fill with whipped topping between each cut cupcake.
-Serve OREO cookie side up. ENJOY!
