Upon request, here is the Earth Day dessert recipe that I made yesterday!
I wouldn’t be posting these recipes if they didn’t taste good, but seriously it was yummy! I’m trying not to eat too much sweets, but I HAD to try a serving of this deliciousness! It was worth every calorie that went into my body. 🙂
Ingredients:
1/2 cup margarine (softened)
gummy worms
1 (8oz) package of cream cheese (softened)
1/2 cup sugar
1 (3.9oz) package of instant chocolate pudding mix
2 cups of milk
1 (8oz or 12oz) container frozen whipped topping (thawed)
1 package of Oreos
-Crush cookies. Put aside.
-Mix butter, cream cheese, and sugar in a bowl. Mix until smooth. Put aside.
-Whisk pudding mix and milk together in a large bowl.
-Fold whipped topping in pudding mixture. Mix well.
-Stir in cream cheese mixture in pudding mixture.
-Time to assemble! I put mine in a large margarita glass. I know…I know. A family treat in a margarita glass, but it worked out perfect! I put a little bit of Oreos on the bottom. Put the mixture on top of that. Then topped off with the rest of the Oreos. I then placed the gummy worms in the ‘dirt.’
-You can put them in small glasses so each person could have their own glass. I would do the same thing…some Oreos on the bottom, mixture above that, then top with Oreos/worms.
-Enjoy!!
Lennon was my helper in making this! As you can tell, he was pretty proud of our ‘masterpiece.’
