Better Homes and Gardens Photo Shoot

Last week was a busy week at our house! I had posted on my Instagram stories a tent getting set up, and no it wasn’t for a birthday party or a house party. It was for a photo shoot! The 2022 Better Homes and Gardens outdoor living collection was photographed at our house! They took pictures in our front porch, driveway, backyard, firepit area, pool area, pool house space, back deck, and under the back deck.

Being a photographer myself, I loved watching the behind-the-scenes of how an image or video comes to life. They took images of the products and also videos for social media and the website. I had to blur the products because these images/videos won’t come out until next year.

I’m part of the BHG Live Better Influencer Network and already own a lot of Better Homes and Gardens at Walmart products. It’s going to be crazy to see the images of the products next summer and see my house and my face. ha!

We also got to be the models! It was the first time for me to get my hair and makeup professionally done for pictures and to have clothes picked out for all of us.

While I had to take pictures/videos, Nick was occupying the kids until it was time to include the whole family.

Even Gigi and Rosie made a few appearances! Here Nick is brushing Gigi before her modeling debut. 😉

One of the themes was a surprise birthday party for Gigi…and it was seriously the cutest setup! This was afterward when they were able to eat the dog cake.

That’s a wrap, and Nick had them taste our cider before they left.

What a wonderful experience to have the photo shoot at our house! Thank you to the Meredith and Better Homes and Gardens team (missing a few in this pic)! Can’t wait to see everything next summer! I have a lot more behind-the-scenes pictures, so I’ll post those when all the products are revealed!
