Sharing our master bedroom holiday decor
The Christmas tree we have in our master bedroom is my favorite. It has all of the kids’ school holiday craft ornaments, family ornaments, vacation ornaments, and other random ones we got throughout the years. I love having this tree in our bedroom! I didn’t have a tree skirt, so I used a throw blanket and placed it around the base. Note, you don’t need to spend money on a tree skirt because you can just use an extra blanket lying around!
This is a busy time of year for work, and I wanted to give my bedroom a little refresh without spending so much money and time on it. I took a trip to Walmart and saw these Better Homes and Gardens buffalo check quilt and shams, and I knew those would be perfect for the bedroom. To me, plaid and buffalo check patterns scream HOLIDAY! The quilt is reversible, so I can use the plaid side if I get tired of the buffalo check pattern. 😉
I also got these faux fur pillows that came in a set of two while I was at the store. I did what I do best and shopped my own house for the rest of the bedroom. I’m not going to lie, there are a lot of totes downstairs in the storage with pillows, blankets, and decor that I could probably have my own store! Ha! I already had the gray pillows and the striped pillow which both came in a set of two.
This kid’s egg chair was in the four seasons room, but we were clearing that off for something and Nick moved the chair to this corner. I actually like it here! Also, if you’re looking for gold picture frames, check out these 11×14 frames. Love this little corner!
As previously mentioned, the striped pillow on the bed came in a set of two, and here’s the other pillow! That buffalo check pillow is actually an outdoor Thanksgiving pillow that I flipped over. 😉
I got so many questions last year on this faux fur snow leopard throw, and now it’s back in stock!!
There’s something about a tree lit up at night and the fireplace turned on, so here are some pictures of our bedroom at night!
