Sharing these fun ice cream cookie cups and Walmart substutions!
I’ve been meaning to make these ice cream cookie cups all summer, and finally had the chance to make them! I ordered all the ingredients from Walmart online.
It’s sooo easy to make! You just get some chocolate chip cookie dough, and press it onto a muffin sheet. Bake and you’re done! Usually I like my cookies soft and I take it out sooner than what it says on the package. For these, you will want to cook it a little longer. If it’s too soft (gooey), then it will be difficult to remove it from the pan and will start falling apart.

Did you know that when you’re ordering your groceries online, you can pre-select what you want your substitutions to be in case it’s out of stock? There’s an area where you can review or edit your substitution preferences. You can go through each item to choose the next best match. Walmart will show suggested items, you can search for alternatives, or opt out.
If you’re like me, we order the same things every time, and Walmart will remember your preferred substitutions!

We taste tested 4 ice cream flavors. Now if my go-to cookies and cream is out of stock, I know to pick cookie dough as my substitution!

Let me know if you try these ice cream cookie cups!
