We are SO excited to tell you guys about one of our favorite stores here in the Des Moines area! Have you heard of Homemakers? Homemakers is HUGE…215,000 square feet of showroom space! It’s a one stop shop with a ton of selections. They have furniture for every room in your house like the dining room, living room, bedroom, kids’ bedroom, kitchen, office, game room, and bar area. They also have decor and wall pieces that will finish off the “look” of your room.
It doesn’t matter what style you have, you WILL find something at Homemakers that will suit your style. You will love how the designers styled the furniture and decor pieces throughout the store to make it look like an actual bedroom or living space. This will help you visualize those pieces into your home!
If you’re wondering what the inside of Homemakers looks like, we’re here to give you a store tour! The upstairs area has all the bedroom furniture. You will find headboards, bedroom sets, bunk beds, cribs, kids’ beds, and bedroom decor/accents. See for yourself! Cecilia was obsessed with the Ellen Degeneres furniture line, and of course I was obsessed with the Magnolia Home furniture line.
Here’s a view going down the escalators. 
They have free cookies and lemonade for a quick treat while shopping. This is great for the little shoppers that join you! Our kids love this part of the store 😉

This area over here has a bunch of galvanized letters and marquee letters that are great accents to any room!
Who doesn’t love a little black and gold?
There’s a whole section of clocks, mirrors, and lamps.
Next is the living room furniture. Don’t you think the designers did such a great job styling the space?! They style it so well, you want it for your own house!

There’s an area in front of the store where they change it 5 times a year showcasing the different seasons. Here’s this section decorated for the summer!
Now we want to show how you can incorporate furniture and products from Homemakers into a room, so we created a bedroom mood board of pieces all from Homemakers. The first one here is for a guest bedroom or master bedroom. I want all of it for myself!
