Sharing my new air fryer and a poptart air fryer recipe
An air fryer has been on my wishlist since 2019. I see it go on sale during Black Friday and I’ve debated getting it for myself on my birthday or Christmas, but I never bought it. Then this year, I would see all these air fryer recipes on TikTok. Is it bad TikTok encouraged me to get an air fryer? Maybe, but who cares! Ha! I ended up buying the Instant Pot air fryer toaster oven combo from Walmart. I’m always a fan of products that can do so much. For example, with this air fryer, you can rotisserie, roast, crisp, broil, toast, cook, bake, reheat, and dehydrate!
I thought I had everything under control when school started, but then sports started and feel like I’m driving all over the state of Iowa driving kids to and from sports/activities. Dinner can be overwhelming, so I thought an airfryer will help make meals a little easier.
Poptart Air fryer recipe
You would think I’d start off with a chicken or dinner recipe for my first air fryer use, but I saw this video on TikTok sharing a poptart air fryer recipe. I just had to try it! All you need is pie crust, jelly, and a topping (I used frosting).
The pie crust comes in a circle, so you have to cut it so it’s one big square with a pizza cutter. Then you have to cut it into eight equal rectangles. Next, put some jelly on four of the rectangle pieces. Then you put the other rectangle pieces on top of the ones that already have jelly. The last step is to press the edges with a fork and poke some holes on the top too. It should look like this before putting it in the air fryer:
You put it in the air fryer for 10 minutes 350º. After it’s done, put some toppings on it! I used frosting and sprinkles. I’m not even kidding…the kids LOVED it! Bash, my youngest, said it was the best ever!
Walmart has a lot of small appliances that can make your life not so overwhelming. Here are my picks:
Pioneer Woman
I have a lot of measuring spoons and cups, but I couldn’t pass this 13 piece set which is the Pioneer Woman brand from Walmart! I’m obsessed with these colors and designs! The blue and the sage green…yes, please! The Pioneer Woman designs are classic and timeless, and I’ll definitely be using these a lot in the kitchen.
I already have this dinnerware set and glass tumblers which you can see in this blog post.
Here are some of my Pioneer Woman kitchen picks:
I hope you enjoyed this blog post! If you have any air fryer recipes, send them my way!
Thank you Walmart, one of my favorite brands, for sponsoring this post!
