Front Porch Refresh With Theisen’s

This post is sponsored by Theisen’s, but all ideas and opinions are our own.

Some of you guys might know that I actually lived in Dubuque, IA for two years before we moved to Des Moines, and my husband actually grew up there too!  So excited to be partnering with Theisen’s which was founded in Dubuque!  When we lived in Dubuque, my husband and I would actually go there to go Christmas shopping for the kids and my bestie actually got her baby chickens from there too.  Seriously love that store!

Spring is here, and it’s officially time to start thinking about landscaping and gardening!  My front porch is my favorite area to decorate for every season.  The last time I had this area decorated was for Christmas, so it was time!  I’m usually a neutral palette type of girl, but for spring and summer I try to get out of my comfort zone 😉

I headed to Theisen’s to refresh my front porch, and I love the Garden Center!  To make your garden and any space colorful, Theisen’s offers a variety of quality plants and seeds.  Everything was bloomed and colorful!  I knew that I wanted the bright pinks and purples for this space, and I was able to find those plants!

Since the plants are colorful, I wanted the planter to be more neutral and simple.  You all know I have a coastal farmhouse style, so these cream mason jar planters caught my eye!

I don’t have a green thumb, so I better be watering these plants like no other! ha!  How cute is this watering can??  You can even use it as a decor piece like I did here.

As mentioned above, I wanted purple flowers too and these were the perfect hint of purple.

I had to find small pots for these and the gray freestanding 3 set pails I found in the store was perfect!  Since I have this in my front porch, I put “welcome” on the chalkboard area.  Wouldn’t it look cute to have your herbs in these and then putting “herbs” on the chalkboard?

So what do you think??  I’ve been hanging around the front porch lately letting our new puppy GiGi out for potty breaks, and this space just makes me so happy!  Pretty sure it’s the colors and the sunshine we’ve been getting!  To refresh your space, go to your nearest Theisen’s!
