Tuesday Morning | Kitchen Finds

After unpacking all of our kitchen stuff in the new kitchen, all I was thinking was “New house, new kitchen utensils!”  Mama needed an update on these!  We had broken ones that we were still using, and some were even run-down and burnt in some areas.  Also, I was over the “orange” utensils.  Even Cecilia, my twin sister, was joking that even she thought it was time for me to get updated kitchen necessities…at least replace the broken ones.  She was right, and so I decided to head to my nearest Tuesday Morning to get some new kitchen tools.  

If you have a Tuesday Morning in your area, I highly recommend checking it out!  The products there are 20-60% off department store prices, but filled with the same name-brand product!  Also, each Tuesday Morning store is unique, so what you see in one store might be different from another one.  You can’t see any products online, so it’s always a surprise what you find in store!  When I first got there, I was getting distracted by their pretty home decor (vases, lanterns, and trays) and furniture.  Then I made my way to the kitchen aisle, and they had so many options to choose from!

I ended up leaving with two new sets of baking utensils, measuring cups, two floral bowls, wooden spoons, wooden basting brush, kitchen scissors, baking pan, cupcake pan, lemon hand towels, utensil holder, expandable drawer organizer, and plaid hand towel/oven mitt set.  All of this for $134, and all the products I got were over 30% off!  

I also got a new Calphalon muffin pan and lemon dishtowels.  Along with my kitchen utensils, my baking pans were also looking gross, so that definitely got updated too!  😉 

Don’t you love that lemon dishtowel? This is perfect for spring! 

You guys know how I’m obsessed with the soft blue color, so I was loving all the baking utensils and measuring cups in this color at Tuesday Morning!  

I had my eye on these pretty floral bowls and could only find two of these at the store, so if you see some at your local Tuesday Morning store let me know!

As mentioned earlier, I also updated my baking pans while I was at the store, and I love this one that’s dishwasher safe!  That plaid oven mitt also came with a potholder and two dishtowels in that same pattern.  The 4 piece set was $9.99!

Since I was getting new kitchen utensils, I wanted to get a utensil holder.  I went with this gray concrete-looking one because it matched our kitchen stone wall perfectly!  All the items in the utensil holder are all from Tuesday Morning!  I went with all silicone and wooden utensils because I don’t want to use metal ones and ruin my new Hestan cookware.  

Five of the wooden utensils had colored handles that came in a set.  Love this!

Now time for organization!  These drawer organizers are a must-have!  I love how this one is big and expandable which takes up the whole drawer space.  

Here are the new measuring cups and spoons I got!  Love the dusty light gray color of these!

It was also time to update my tongs because it has been broken for a while now and won’t ever close.  Check out these pretty silicone tongs I found!  It came in a set of three – 2 small tongs and 1 large one.  I also got some kitchen scissors which came in a set of 2 because my family is ALWAYS looking for scissors. Somehow, we’re always misplacing them.
