Finally sharing our outdoor kitchen reveal with you!!
We’ve always had a plan to do an outdoor kitchen, but it kept on getting pushed back to the bottom of the list. After 2 years of living here, we finally made it happen! The blue box area to the right of the house is where the outdoor kitchen is at.
This was the original design of the outdoor kitchen, but we decided to extend it and add more appliances.
Here is the reveal!! I LOVE how it turned out, and it’s even better than what I had imagined! All of the outdoor appliances are Hestan (except the Kamado grill). I picked the froth color for this space which is the same as our pool house appliances and pantry appliances.
42" Hestan Outdoor Built-In Grill
We new we wanted a bigger grill for our outdoor kitchen, so we went with the 42″ Hestan built-in grill. Nick was very excited about this grill. 😉 It has 25,000 BTU high-performance burners, concealed whisper-quiet infrared rotisserie, and motion-activated under-hood lighting. We’ll be cooking a lot outside with this bad boy!
Campania Pizza Oven™
Hestan came out with the new Campania Pizza Oven™ last year, so this is the main reason we extended the outdoor kitchen because we wanted to include it. 🙂 I was the most excited about the pizza oven! This pizza oven is available in 12 colors, and I love the froth color we picked. You can see us using the pizza oven for the first time here.
POWER BURNER
The 24″ power burner was a great addition to the outdoor kitchen. It compliments the grill and perfect for boiling sweet corn! It accommodates extra-large pots and delivers an extra-powerful flame with dual burners and a combined 70,000 BTUs.
The tubular outer burner delivers a 50,000 BTU flame while the brass inner burner brings in 20,000 BTUs which is great for simmering.
We haven’t used it yet, but we also have the power burner griddle that goes on top. This is great for pancakes, bacon, or hibachi night!
REFRESHMENT CENTER
The 30″ refreshment center is a fully insulated sink and comes with a removable insulated ice bin and outdoor rated stainless steel faucet with pullout spray.
The stainless speed rail can be filled with ice to store drinks, but for us we keep the dish soap, sponge, and hand towel there.
ICE BIN
The 16″ drop-in ice bin sits level with the countertop, so you can chill your outdoor beverages and is easily accessible.
TRASH DRAWER / CHUTE
Having a 20″ trash/recycle drawer is a must in an outdoor kitchen! When you’re entertaining, there’s a lot of things being thrown away or recycled. This drawer has two bins which is so nice to have! Both ours as trash bins, so we don’t have to constantly take out the garbage. I also really like how it’s soft close! We picked the froth color to match the rest of the outdoor kitchen!
One of my favorite features is the motion-activated illumination which is great for when it gets dark outside.
We also included a countertop trash chute which gives you quick access to the trash bin without having to open trash drawer! It comes with a cutting board that slides over the trash chute. You can cut food on the cutting board and easily throw away peels/scraps into the trash bin. The cutting board or a stainless steel cover can be placed over the trash chute to hide it.
ICE MACHINE
To the left of the refreshment center is our 15″ ice machine. It produces 55 pounds of crystal-clear top hat ice every 24 hours. The ice machine holds up to 22 pounds of ice. When you’re entertaining, having ice on hand is a must!
UNDERCOUNTER FRIDGE
We went with a froth colored 24″ outdoor fridge to put beverages, cold side dishes, or meat/fish to grill. We also keep condiments like ketchup and mustard in here.
The far back stainless steel appliance on the right side is another 24″ undercounter fridge. This one is part of Hestan’s Aspire line! If you’re looking for an outdoor refrigerator that’s great quality, but reasonably priced check this one out!
STORAGE CABINETS & DRAWERS
We wanted storage to put grill accessories, utensils, pot holders, kitchen towels, etc, so we put a variety of storage and access drawers/cabinets. Hestan has a huge variety of them! We went with the froth color of course. 😉
