Our neighbors were having people over, and I volunteered to bring dessert. I didn’t want to make anything extravagant, and I remembered seeing a dessert on pinterest with ice cream sandwiches. I found this recipe on pinterest (recipe by i heart naptime)…looked super easy (5 ingredients!)…AND it consisted of ice cream sandwiches and oreos…who wouldn’t want that?! 😉
1. combine 1/4 cup melted butter and smashed oreos (this is the crust)
2. layer 12 ice cream sandwiches
3. spread a jar of hot fudge
4. spread cool whip and sprinkle oreos
Super easy! The oreo crust didn’t stick to the ice cream sandwiches, so I suggest putting a layer of hot fudge on top of the oreo crust. 😉
