Mudroom Bench Decorated for Fall

Fall is here friends! It’s so weird to me that I’m not going “all out” for fall because in previous years I would decorate my whole house during this season! My favorite way to decorate for the season was decorating the front porch with pumpkins, lanterns, and more pumpkins. I seriously can’t wait to decorate the new house next year for fall! For right now, the only glimpse of fall in the rental is this area by the mudroom.

I don’t know how many times I’ve said this, but Walmart has really stepped up their home decor/furniture game! Check out my blog post of the foyer revamp, Johannah’s bathroom refresh, and the fall tablescape where I used Walmart products to decorate those spaces!

With my busy schedule, Nick’s, and especially the kids, this mama needed to hang up this calendar to keep everything on track. That won’t change the hotmess mom in me, but at least I’m trying! 😉 I didn’t want it to only be the calendar, so I added this spindleback bench. I love the grayish color and the price point of this bench!

Then I added these knit colorblock and button pillows! The button pillow comes in a set of two.

Okay now for the “fall” decorating. I used this same garland as in the fall tablescape I did last week and set it on the corner of the calendar. I didn’t use nails to keep it in place, but instead twisted some of the stems and placed them behind the frame.

I would usually put a blanket in the wicker basket, but instead filled it with these cream pumpkins. These pumpkins come in a set of 2!

I love how it turned out, and it feels SO good to have this space by the mudroom decorated for fall. Even Nick agreed that he liked it especially since the rest of my house is undecorated and still unpacked. Since I don’t decorate that much anymore, I actually miss decorating!
