Thank you Serena and Lily for sponsoring this post!
The kitchen is the heart of the home. If it’s only my family or if I have friends and family over, we’re always in the kitchen! In my previous home, we had these white metal counter stools. After having those for 3 years, I really wanted to upgrade to stools that had a back on them. We spent a lot of our time at the kitchen counter like eating breakfast/snacks, doing homework, or working on crafts, so I wanted a stool that was more comfortable. Then we decided to sell the house, so getting new counter stools had to wait.
Counter stools are great accessories to a kitchen. Counter or bar stools is a great way to showcase your style in the kitchen! I have a bright coastal farmhouse style, so the counter stools by Serena and Lily are always my top picks. I love the Riviera stools which comes in different colors, but I decided to go with the Avalon Swivel stools for the new house.
Obviously our house won’t be done until early next year, so guess whose house I’m using?! Yup, Cecilia’s! As you can see, the stools also look great in a modern eclectic home with lots of black accents.
The Serena and Lily stools can go with any style…boho, coastal, farmhouse, modern, etc. Even Cecilia liked how it looked in her home! Nice try girlfriend these are mine. 😉
If you’ve been following me for awhile, you know that we used to live with Cecilia’s family when we were building our previous home, and then they lived with us when they were building this house. This time around, we made sure to get our own place while we built. 😉 So many memories were made while we lived with each other, and our kids loved it! They love spending time with their cousins. With 8 kids, the kitchen is always occupied with kids.
I can’t wait for you to see these stools in my new house! I’ve linked my top 6 favorite kitchen counter stools below! Which one is your favorite??

Beautiful kitchen! What kind of lights are they? Wondering what size they are, they fill your kitchen perfectly and trying to see if it will work in my kitchen too! Thanks!
