Hot Tools Hair Tutorial

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Hot Tools for IZEA Worldwide. All opinions are 100% mine.

A popular question I get in my Instagram messages is, “How do you curl your hair?” It’s your lucky day because you will get see how it’s done!

First, let’s talk curling irons. I think it’s important on what you use. I don’t have much time to curl my hair so I want something quick, easy, and results in curls that last throughout the day. I am loving the Hot Tools Signature Series Salon Gold curling iron. There are various sizes to choose from, but with the curls I want to achieve, I use the 1-¼” curling iron.

It comes with various temperature settings for those who have fine hair to thick hair. Since I have such thick hair, it’s important for me to have a curling iron that heats up quickly and can reach a high temperature. I’m usually on the go go go.. and running behind so I don’t have time to be standing there in front of the mirror waiting for a curling iron to warm up and don’t want to wait a long time for the heat from the curling iron to even reach my hair. The Hot Tools Signature Series has various temperatures to choose. For my hair, I set the temperature to 430 degrees but it does go all the way down to 280 degrees for those who have fine hair.

The Hot Tools Signature Series is designed with gold technology for long lasting curls. It’s so awesome! The day after I curl my hair, it still looks styled. I don’t even do anything with my hair except brush it and people still compliment my hair. If only they knew. 😉

Below is a tutorial on how I actually curl my hair.

When I’m curling the right side of my head, I hold the curling iron with my left hand and wrap my hair around the curling iron with my right hand. I wrap my hair onto the curling iron moving my hair away from the mirror not towards the mirror.

I hope this helps you all get these beautiful waves/curls! I highly recommend grabbing a Hot Tools Signature Series curling iron. It’ll save you time and won’t leave you frustrated with the time it takes to curl your hair!  Also for those who like to wear their hair straight, make sure to check out the Hot Tools Signature Series Digital flat iron, 1 1/4 inch!
