I never got to post the decal stripes for Dylan’s room I had done over a year go, so here you go!
I wanted stripes in Dylan’s room but couldn’t imagine actually painting stripes. I do enough stenciling in the home, we needed a break. 😉 I started looking into decals and decided to buy them from Walls Need Love. I gave Blaine the design with measurements on how far apart I wanted the stripes and boom, he did it! He even commented how easy it was. Trust me, he lets me know if my ideas are a pain in his butt!
For this wall, I used a silver 1.5″ width / 50 ft. roll and a silver 5″ width / 50 ft. roll.
On a side note, the headboard and desk is oak and needed a facelift. Blaine then painted both with (Pure White) CHALK PAINT and Soft Wax by Annie Sloan that we purchased at Paddywac’s. He didn’t have to sand it or any other pre work! Gotta love that!
I haven’t found a bedding that I love, but what I have in there will have to do for now.
