window / wreath bedroom decor

We’ve been in our new house for over a year now, and it definitely takes us awhile to hang stuff on the walls!  Having stuff on the walls makes a home feel more ‘homey’…I just knew that would fix our bedroom from looking a little blah.  If you follow us on instagram (nina_cecilia), you might have seen this one post where I mentioned my love of peonies and that you’ll see these type of flowers throughout my house.  I’m a tad obsessed 😉  Well, of course I saw these flowers as a wreath at Target and just couldn’t pass it up!

Most people put a wreath on their front door, but my front door is white, so that wouldn’t work.  It would just blend in with the door.  Good thing for Pinterest because I’ve been seeing wreaths used as home decor and hung up on the walls.  Last month, Nick with the help with our friends got some barnwood/barnboards from an old barn for our basement.  One of the treasures that Nick found while at the barn was an old window.  Window + a wreath = this:

It’s perfect 😉
