Making sure I blog about our adventures even if this was late January. 😉 My husband is from Cedar Rapids / Marion area so we try to make a trip there as much as we can to see his family.
This adventure consisted of checking out the kids’ great grandpa’s John Deere tractors, eating lunch at Newbo City Market (WOW…highly recommend this place. A variety of delicious food under 1 roof. Des Moines really needs something like this!), The Play Station for the kids to get some energy out, and then going to Zoey’s for pizza and a zookie for dessert. If you haven’t been to Zoey’s Pizzeria, you need to go there. Seriously one of the BEST pizza places in Iowa.
