Birthday Weekend – Day 3
They got us. They got us reeeeal good. I can’t believe they pulled it off. Our Sunday started off going to church…such a beautiful message as always. Right after church, the hubbies told us to go to Target and be back home at 2:00pm for brunch. Well when we came back, we walked into everyone saying “SURPRISE!!” All of our sisters and mom were there!! Music playing and everyone dancing. Now that is what you call a surprise dance party! Nina and I were both crying and laughing at the same time from so many emotions coming over us…happiness, excitement, and in complete shock. Each of our sisters, mom, and hubbies made our favorite dishes. We had so much food it was ridiculous (here’s a few pics of the food there)!! Blaine and Nick each made us a cake we loved. Mine…chocolate cake. Nina’s…angel food cake. They gave us an agenda to do. Nick and Blaine then left with all the kids so we could enjoy a Nuñez ladies par-tay! WOOT WOOT!! Lots of laughs and lots of weight gained (totally worth it).
ALL the props go out to our husbands. WOW. We literally had NO idea. We are truly the luckiest. It was our 33rd birthday on Friday, and it may just be a typical birthday for most, but every year is special and boy do they show it.
