Thank you eBay, one of my favorite brands, for sponsoring this post!
As you know, we moved into the new house at the end of January. We are still unpacking! Is it normal that it’s taking us this long to unpack? We were so excited to finally be “in” the house after building for over a year, but now that we’re in, there’s still so much to do to make it feel like home. We have to unpack everything, go through and get rid of stuff we don’t need anymore, and then furnish/decorate. I wish I can just go straight to decorating. 😉
The first official day of spring is a few weeks away, and it’s that time of year when everyone starts spring cleaning! I already feel like I’m doing that with organizing and decluttering. Since it’s a new construction home, there’s not a lot of deep cleaning. We did have the house cleaned before we moved in, and wiped down cabinets and drawers before we filled them.
After unpacking and living in the house for over a month, I do have my mind set on getting a new vacuum especially a cordless one. I went on eBay to check out some of my options since their Home & Garden Spring Cleaning Sale is going on right now, with up to 50% off select items through the 7th! I can’t pass this up! Along with vacuums, I wanted to share with you my spring cleaning wishlist!
Everyone raves about their Dyson. I’ve never owned a Dyson, and I’m wondering, “Is it really worth the hype?” I would love to know your opinion! Here are the Dyson vacuums that I’m eyeing. I’m definitely leaning towards a cordless one.

1. V8 Animal Pro 2. V6 Motorhead 3. V10 Absolute 4. V7 Allergy
There’s a huge price difference between the V6 and the V10, but from reading the reviews, I can see why the V10 is more expensive. Here’s a link where I found a great comparison between the Dysons! The V10 has a longer run time, has more suction power, and has a bigger dustbin.
Did you know 79% of all merchandise sold on eBay is new? Their wide selection keeps on growing! There are refurbished items on eBay too like the Dyson V8 Animal Pro. This refurbished one is $299.90, and a new one is almost $400. After all my research, I ended up buying the Dyson V10 Animal. Let me know if you own one!
Before I considered buying a Dyson, I did look into a robot vacuum. Check out this PureClean Smart Automatic Robot which comes in white! I mean how sleek will this look vacuuming around your house? 😉

Nick hasn’t built shelves yet for our storage in the basement, but once that’s all built, we place clear storage containers on the shelves. I love placing my home decor and seasonal items in these big bins. I can fit a lot in those containers and easily see what’s inside of them. Here’s a set with 4 – 70qt containers and 6 – 64qt containers. I know for a fact I can fill all 10 of these real quick with all the stuff we have to unpack that’s currently in boxes!

I also wanted to share these 3 drawer storage carts which come in a set of 3. These are great for smaller decor items like floral stems. For one cart, I would put greenery in one drawer, spring florals in the second drawer, and Christmas stems in the third drawer.

Here are some more items that I saw on eBay that would be perfect for spring cleaning and home projects you have been meaning to do this year!

1. Cleaning Gel – My car needs this!
2. Hurricane Spin Mop – We like using this for our floors instead of a Swiffer
3. Shark Sweeper – We’ve had this for years and use it constantly
4. Norwex Cloths – These are the cloths I use for our counters!
5. DeWALT kit – Nick recommended this!
6. Quickie Push Broom – Great for cleaning the garage!
Hope you enjoyed this blog post! I can’t wait to get my Dyson from eBay! Don’t forget they’re having their Home & Garden Spring Cleaning Sale now through the 7th!
