Paint colors are probably the #1 question I get, so I’m listing all our paint colors in this blog post!  Choosing paint colors was one of the most stressful parts of building.  I had to narrow down my white paint color, blue paint colors, mauve paint color for Johannah’s bedroom, gray paint color for Beckham’s bedroom, taupe paint color for the boys’ bathroom, green paint color for Bash’s bedroom, and black paint color for Nick’s office.  For each of those main colors, I had 3-5 samples.  I highly recommend getting small samples and actually putting them on your wall.  

I want to note that just because it looks good in my house, it might look different in your house.  The lighting in your house could be different from mine.  There was this one blue paint color that a lot of designers and influencers were raving about, but I hated it once I had the sample on my wall.  It had more of a green tint to it that I didn’t care for.  I was so confused because the color looked so good in their blog and Instagram pictures.  This also happened on a white color I picked in my old house.  I made the mistake of not getting samples and just picked the white paint color this one designer always used.  It wasn’t horrible, but I didn’t like how there was a yellow hint to the white paint color.  Moral of the story: use samples! 😉
