Easy Curls / Waves Using Flat Iron
Who ever has time to do their hair these days? Not us! I could never really figure out how stylists could curl hair with a flat iron. Well, I finally gave it a try, and it is SO easy to do! I personally think it’s a lot easier to curl my hair with a flat iron than with a normal curling iron. My curls actually stay in place too.
For Cecilia (who never curls her hair because it takes her too long and she doesn’t like how her hair ends up looking too tight of curls), this way of curling the hair she loves! It’s fast, easy, and just leaves nice loose curls!
Couple things you need to remember…
1. When curling the left side of my hair, I hold the flat iron on my right hand.
2. Start at the top of your hair, clamp your hair with the flat iron, and SLOWLY move the flat iron down while slightly twisting your wrist.
3. How you twist your wrist is how your hair will curl…remember you want to curl your hair away from your face not inwards.
4. When curling the right side of my hair, I hold the flat iron on my left hand. If you’re right handed, this might feel awkward at first. You’ll get the hang of it!
Once I’m done, I put some hair styling putty on my hair.
Now when I’m traveling, all I have to do is pack my flat iron instead of both my flat iron and curling iron!
Give it a try, and send us a pic! 😉
