Another bare wall in our house just needing some love! I wanted some color and after going to Hobby Lobby, I decided to do a collage of watercolor ‘paintings.’ I bought some paint, 2 pads of 12×12 watercolor paper (each pad had 12 sheets), and some paint brushes…I spent about $20. I then bought some foam board, double stick tape, and an exacto knife at Target and bought some Command poster strips from Menards. I spent about $50 total for this project.
I’m not a professional so I just did what my heart desired as far as design for each painting! 😉 The watercolor paper is 12×12 and to get the max # out of each foam board, I decided to make each paper 10×12 by using an exacto knife to cut the excess on 2 sides. When attaching the watercolor paper to the foam board, I first used double sided tape. It did not work very well. I ended up using my hot glue gun and it worked like a charm!
Here it is…a large watercolor collage wall gallery to give that wall some subtle color and character!
