Corian Design Moodboard Maker!

This post has been sponsored by Corian® Design. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The first time I created a moodboard was for one of the HGTV Facebook live episodes we did last year.  Cecilia and I picked a room that a viewer submitted, and we each created a moodboard for her.  I loved how mine turned out!…I personally think mine was better than Cecilia’s 😉  There’s just something about putting together pictures, textures, fabrics, and materials, and all of the pieces creating an inspiration for a room.

Creating an actual physical moodboard does take some time, and I love how Corian® Design created the Moodboard Maker to help make the process easier.  It’s an online tool that allows designers and homeowners to create a unique inspiration board for any space.

The Moodboard Maker is super-simple to use.  I always say, “If I can do it, you can do it too!” 😉

  • Choose the style that most represents you.  Each style is associated with a unique mosaic shape and unique textures.  Below are the seven styles, and Minimal and Relaxed are my faves!
  • Fill your mosaic with a Corian texture that inspires you.
  • Fill your mosaic with other images, patterns or textures of your choice. You can use their preloaded options or upload your own image.
  • Your finished moodboard can be saved to your camera roll, and then you can share it on social media.  You can also order a framed print of your mosaic.

I’m going through a style transition right now where I prefer less “farmhouse.”  Yes, I still love the farmhouse look, but I want to incorporate more classic, clean, coastal styles into my decor.  I decided to do a moodboard for my dining room.  That’s one area of the house where I’m slowly transitioning.  I changed up my dining chairs, some artwork on the picture ledge, and the centerpiece.

Here’s my moodboard using the Relaxed style:

Here’s the moodboard I created using the Minimal style.

Which moodboard is your favorite?  From the moodboards above, I think I need Corian® Calacatta Natura quartz in my life as it ended up in both moodboards because I just love the color tone and the simplicity of it!  Now it’s your turn to create your own moodboard using the Corian® Design Moodboard Maker!
