I admit it. When I told my husband, Nina, & brother-in-law Nick (we all live in the same house…you tell each other everything right away) that I signed up to be a Beautycounter consultant, they looked at me like really?! Not like the “oh really” in an excited tone. I got the “oh really” like you’re out of your mind. I remember saying, “Well, I want the discount and you never know maybe I’ll make some money too.” I admit, I was a bit discouraged but I kept thinking..what if and I personally love proving people wrong….muahahaha! 3 months in and guess what, by the end of this month I am double promoting. Haters gonna hate, but my husband sure isn’t hating anymore when he sees the paycheck that’s coming in from me working from home while he works 40 hours a week. I not only get to use these amazing products at a discount, spread the word about Beautycounter while getting these products in everyone’s hands, be an advocate for safe beauty, make others think twice about what they put on their skin as well as their families, but I am able to prove to myself that I can do anything I set my mind to. That little doubt that I had in the beginning is Gone…Buh-bye..Sayonara. All it took was one simple thing….trying.
You might have the same fear. Thinking what others will think of you joining a direct retail company. Well, it’s time to prove them wrong. Thinking you won’t sell anything. Prove yourself wrong.
