This is a long one as I am officially on cloud 9…
5 months ago, I joined as a consultant to purchase Beautycounter products at a discount. I truly can’t believe where I am with this company today. Late last night, I got a text from my mentor, to “raise the roof” because I did it. I promoted to Director!!! I’m speechless. In September, I went to a training and they said that there were 104 consultants in Iowa and only 4 Directors. After that night, I set my goal to reach Director by December 31st. I wasn’t quite sure if I’d be able to do it, but I can’t believe I did it and achieved it 1 month earlier. I’m so excited to be the one of the few Directors in Iowa! It’s amazing what you can be capable of when you combine hard work, passion, and pride towards a company.
I had no idea that being a part of this company would change my life. I’m so thankful I decided to just go for it and kick fear in the face. It has changed my awareness. It has changed us financially. It has changed my skin….huge plus!! It has changed my circle of friends…amazing friendships I’ve gained from meeting new people from guests at socials, ladies that have joined my team, and other BC teammates who are sharing this social mission around the U.S. It especially has changed my confidence. I admit it, I got some doubters in the beginning and actually I still might. I’m sure they thought it would just be a phase. It’s nice to prove those doubters to believers!
A special thank-you goes out to my awesome teammates who have joined me on this adventure, who trusted in me, who believe in the company and products, and are proudly sharing this mission to get safe products into the hands of everyone. Thank-you for making this so much fun for me. They think I push them to be the best they can be but it’s actually the other way around. I feel like they push me so I can make sure to be the best mentor that I can be for them. We are doing BIG things in Iowa, ladies!! Thank-you to Jennifer for introducing me to BC and Leah, thank-you for your guidance! Some more thank-you’s goes out to my family and friends who have supported me, who have purchased Beautycounter, who are sharing Beautycounter with their family and friends. Beautycounter’s story is best told person to person so thank-you for being a part of it! I didn’t do this on my own. WE got me this promotion!
