3 EASY 4TH OF JULY DESSERTS

Sharing 3 easy 4th of July desserts for your next holiday party!

Whether you’re hosting a 4th of July party or need to bring something for a friend’s party, you’ll have to try one of these three super SUPER easy 4th of July desserts!  You seriously can’t mess any of these up!  Before I share the desserts, I wanted to mention that these tabletop décor and casserole baskets are all part of my House of Blum summer collection!

You can purchase these products here:

— TULIP BOUQUET
— RATTAN CASSEROLE BASKETS
— BAMBOO CANE PLACEMATS
— BLUE BAMBOO DINNER PLATES
— BLUE BAMBOO SALAD PLATES
— MILO HANDPAINTED POTS

RICE KRISPIES TREATS

For this one, all you need is some rice krispies treat bars, melted chocolate, sprinkles, and icing.  I used the ones that were already prepackaged, but of course you can make your own too!  I used sticks for each one, but if you don’t want to use those you don’t have to. Place a rice krispies treat on each plate to add to the festive place setting!

ice cream cookie sandwiches

I bought these Nestle chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches and Great Value star ice cream sandwiches and covered them in 4th of July themed sprinkles.  SO EASY!

FLAG POKE CAKE

The last one is the popular flag poke cake you see everyone making!  We used this recipe which uses red and blue jello mix to get the red and blue colors in the cake.  You use a box cake and some jello mix, so you seriously can’t mess this up!  In that recipe I linked, the jello in the holes were poured perfectly, but mine did not look like that. HA!  If you over pour the jello in the holes and it doesn’t look perfect like what they show in that recipe, don’t worry… mine still tasted good and looked like what it was supposed to when you cut into the cake!

Hope you try one of these easy 4th of July desserts!  Also check out the rest of my House of Blum collection here!
