hendrix is FIVE!
I’m so behind in blogging such important things in my life like birthday, baptisms, trips, etc. I take a bunch of pictures and usually only edit 1 picture to post on FB or Instagram. Well, even if I didn’t get a chance to blog the other kids’ birthday that have already happened this year, I wanted to share with you these pictures that I actually got to do a few quick edits on!
Here is how Hendrix’s special birthday went! I can’t believe he’s five. He has always been such a sweetheart. I’m so proud to be his mommy. Every day he amazes me. This is the boy that tells me “I love you with all my heart and Mom, you’re so beautiful” every night when I kiss him goodnight.
I always try to make each of the kids and my husband’s day extra special on their birthday. “It’s just another day” doesn’t fly with me. It’s a big deal celebrating someone’s birth!
Can you see Mariah’s little paws trying to snatch a doughnut in the background?
I’ve been doing streamers lately for the kids’ birthday and they love it. They want to keep it up there forever! Sorry kids! I also always make a handmade card, and then put it in their box of keepsakes.
I bought these chalkboard banners at Walmart. They were only $1.97 each!
Here he is coming down the stairs. Love his expression!
He went to the doughnuts right away! Then he found his presents!
Dylan read him his card. Look at Hendrix looking up at his big bro…melts my heart!
He was so excited to get this Bionicle toy he’s been asking about!
Now time to eat doughnuts before playing with his new toys.
Dylan helped him put his toys together.
Ready to go on a playdate at my friend, Mallory’s house!
We brought some treats from Starbucks to celebrate and the pic below was when we sang him happy birthday.
Until we see each other again. These 2 are becoming such besties!
I can’t even believe I captured these! I just wanted them to take 1 picture together and this is what I got!
Then it was time to go bowling! It was Mariah’s first time. If she wasn’t bowling, there was a lot of running around chasing her around the bowling alley.
Can you tell he LOVES bowling?!
Lennon didn’t want to go home.
Now time for cake! This cake was made by Daddy.
One final pic before it was bath and bedtime. I was so exhausted once everyone went to bed. All that work, but it was so worth seeing him having the time of his life. I love him so much! Happy birthday, Hendrix! Hope your day was as special as you.
