Completing My Master Bedroom {Niña Williams Blog}

This post is sponsored by At Home, but all ideas and opinions is my own.

Most people will probably see my master bedroom and think that the space is completely decorated. Well, for me I didn’t feel that way! There’s a wall by my desk that was too plain and bare that I felt like it needed something. The space below my television also needed to be revamped!

I decided to put picture frames on that blank wall. I take so many pictures that this is a great way to show off those images! The bedroom wall color is a soft gray/tan color, so I was thinking about going with a white, gold, or light wood stain color for the frames. There were SO many frame options at At Home, but I decided on these white 16×20 frames. It also comes in gray, black, and gold. I picked this particular frame because of the price ($12.99), and I liked how it’s matted. I ended up getting a total of 12 frames because I’m doing 3 rows and 4 columns.

I’ve never been a person to use a nails/hammer to hang stuff on the walls unless I have no choice. I use these Command Strips for pretty much everything especially hanging frames up on the wall. If you’re wondering where to get your images printed, I get mine printed off at Costco! The quality is so good!

Before I start hanging the pictures frames up on the wall, I set all 12 frames on the floor to determine which images will go where on the wall. I’m kind of particular on the placement of the images, so an example would be family pictures. Let’s say I only have 3 images that are family pictures. I wouldn’t put all 3 family pictures right by each other. I also look at the color tones of the images. I wouldn’t put the same colored images right by each other.

Once I determined where each frame would go, I placed a row of them against the wall. This is where I figure out how far apart each frame should be. Then I start hanging them up on the wall starting with one of the middle frames. Make sure to use a level for each frame!

Here’s the overall look of the picture wall! I love how it turned out!!

When applying the command strips to these frames, make sure to put the strips on part of the wood trim in the back. The black backside is a bit too smooth and slick that it doesn’t stay that well. If you put half of the strip on the wood and the other half on the black side, you’ll be good!

At Home has so many console tables, but this white console table caught my eye! This table and the wooden frame is part of the Shanty2Chic line. I’m a huge fan of those girls!

Those wooden lanterns are also from At Home!

NOW I can say that my master bedroom is completely decorated! I love how the picture wall and the console table area turned out! If you have an area in your house that’s missing something, find the perfect piece you’ve been needing to finalize your space at At home!

      I got it at Hobby Lobby! It’s a plain green garland that I cut in half and then flocked to get that whitish tone on it!
